Instructional Block of Term 1 Begins at Bonifacio Camacho NHS–JHS
Bonifacio Camacho National High School – Junior High School formally begins the Instructional Block of Term 1 for School Year 2026–2027. After the successful conduct of the Opening Block, learners and teachers now proceed to focused classroom instruction, learning activities, formative assessment, and academic support.
Focused Teaching and Learning for Term 1
The Instructional Block of Term 1 serves as the main period for classroom-based learning. During this block, teachers implement planned lessons, facilitate learning activities, monitor learner progress, and provide appropriate academic support based on the needs of learners.
This phase is important because it provides learners with structured opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, values, and competencies across the different learning areas. It also allows teachers to observe learning gaps, provide timely interventions, and guide learners toward better performance.
Classroom Instruction
Teachers deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum, using appropriate strategies to support understanding, participation, and mastery of learning competencies.
Learner Engagement
Learners are encouraged to attend classes regularly, participate actively, complete learning tasks, and take responsibility for their academic progress.
Progress Monitoring
Teachers monitor learner performance through class activities, written outputs, recitations, quizzes, formative assessments, and other learning evidence.
Key Areas of Implementation
Preparing for Meaningful Learning
Be Present and On Time
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to continuous learning and successful participation in classroom activities.
Bring Learning Materials
Learners are reminded to bring the necessary notebooks, writing materials, learning resources, and other required school items.
Observe Discipline
Respect for teachers, classmates, school personnel, and school rules must be observed at all times.
Working Together for Learner Success
As Term 1 moves into the Instructional Block, the school calls on learners, teachers, parents, guardians, and stakeholders to work together in supporting quality learning. Learner success is strengthened when the school and home share the same commitment to attendance, discipline, study habits, and continuous improvement.
Let us make the Instructional Block of Term 1 productive and meaningful.
Together, we support learning, character, and learner success.
