Honors and Awards
Bonifacio Camacho National High School recognizes learners who demonstrate academic achievement, good character, discipline, leadership, participation, and excellence in school activities.
Policy Basis
The school observes the applicable provisions of DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026, titled Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
Awards and recognition shall be based on verified learner records, curriculum standards, school guidelines, and applicable DepEd issuances.
Academic Excellence Award
For qualified learners
This award recognizes learners who meet the required academic standard based on their computed general average and final grades in all learning areas.
Based on DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026, the Academic Excellence Award is given to learners who meet the prescribed grade requirements and comply with school and DepEd guidelines.

- Subject to verification by the class adviser and school committee
- Based on final grades and applicable curriculum standards
- Released only after checking and approval of the official list
Conduct and Character Recognition
Values and behavior
This recognition may be given to learners who consistently demonstrate positive behavior, respect, responsibility, cooperation, and good conduct inside and outside the classroom.
Conduct-related recognition should be supported by adviser records, teacher observations, school rules, and learner behavior documentation.

Leadership and Service Recognition
School and community involvement
This recognition may be given to learners who show leadership, service, initiative, and active participation in school programs, organizations, and community-related activities.
Leadership and service recognition should be based on documented participation, adviser validation, organization records, and school-approved activities.

Special Program and Skills Awards
Talent and performance
These awards may recognize learner achievement in science, technology, engineering, sports, arts, campus journalism, research, and other school-approved programs.
Special awards should be supported by performance records, competition results, teacher recommendations, and school committee validation.

Important Reminder
Recognition is not based on popularity, informal nomination, or comparison among learners. All awards must be supported by official records, verified grades, documented performance, and approval of the school’s designated committee.
Verification and Approval
The list of awardees shall undergo checking, validation, and approval before publication or announcement. Parents and learners are encouraged to coordinate with the class adviser or school office for official concerns regarding awards and recognition.
